Doberman ResQ ADOPTED - Blue

Blue male

(5/5/09) Blue: A couple, Steve and Sharon, with an 18 month old golden, Scarlett, saw Blue on the website and thought he'd be a wonderful addition to their family. They came out with their golden to meet Blue and what a wonderful time was had. Blue and Scarlett ran in Angie's agility ring as though there were no tomorrow. The only problem was when playtime was supposed to be over, Blue proved just how smart a Doberman he was. He began playing, chase me! He'd come within inches of being caught and zooooom off he went. This went on for more than half an hour. He'd keep coming trying to get someone, anyone, to chase him. Only when everyone stopped playing chase the Doberman was he finally caught. You can tell from his going home photo below he was not happy about being caught and was pouting. Angie called the next day and heard he was integrating perfectly.  Steve, Sharon and Blue's new best friend Scarlett couldn’t be happier.  Blue is learning to trust and bond with people.  He is one very lucky boy, and is getting better every hour. We understand Steve's doing one-on-one training and Blue is responding well. Sharon had always wanted a Golden and got Scarlett, now she wants to know if Steve will "trade" dogs.

Original Posting:

(05/04/09) Blue: An 18 month old male with a nice coat and a sweet personality. A bit timid at first. His owner was forced to give him up when he lost his home. Has had complete blood work up and is normal on all fronts. Handsome, lots of potential.
