The Doberman ResQ Project

(5/24/09) Champ: A couple, Rose & Jim, had just had to put their older best Doberman friend to sleep and were missing him terribly when they saw Champ on the website. They made it clear in their email they really liked Champ and wanted to meet him as soon as possible. They arranged to meet him at Angie's and came and spent two hours playing and meeting this special boy. Dozens of questions and lots of play later they signed the adoption papers and took him to his new home. On one of his first long walks they learn he's not really crazy about horses but otherwise did great. They're both committed to giving Champ the time and patience he needs to become the very best dog he can be.

(04/23/09) Champ: A young 2 year old black & tan male with natural ears and a docked tail. Has a beautiful coat, is very sweet and gentle, a bit shy at first. Unsure on a leash so needs a good trainer. He's very interested in cats so best for a home without cats.
