Doberman ResQ ADOPTED - Tex

Black & Tan male

(7/17/09) Justis (aka Tex): "Hi Angie and all! We wanted to update you and let you know that we adopted Tex (now Justis) out of the Ramona shelter on July 17th. He had a rough start out of the shelter as he had kennel cough, giardia, a fungal infection of his skin and impetigo on his eyelid and nose!! If that wasn't enough, he lost 8 pounds in his 9 days at the shelter! But he has survived all of that and is thriving! He is as happy with his dobie girl companion, Jasmin, as she is with him. Their bond grows closer with each passing day.

"He is a wonderful, sweet, and easygoing dog and we are in complete amazement that he was ever given up at the shelter. We feel so lucky to have found him, thanks to your email notifications. He has become a seasoned traveler to our other home in Park City, Utah and is always ready for a roadtrip or any kind of adventure! He had his first day at dog beach last week and had the best time. He has helped to fill some of the great void in the loss of our other dobie boy. Thank you for getting word out of these special dogs! Debbie and Candace."
